Keep media sharp and properly framed without rebuilding the surrounding layout.

01

Upload or replace media

  1. 1Open Media and choose Upload, or drag a supported file into the editor.
  2. 2To preserve a template slot, select its sample screenshot and use Replace instead of adding a new element.
  3. 3When the editor offers a crop after choosing a fixed-aspect mockup, position the important UI inside the visible area and confirm.
  4. 4Check the result at a larger zoom. A screenshot that looked fine as a thumbnail may reveal blur or an unwanted browser edge.
02

Understand cover cropping

Frames and scenes have an opening with its own aspect ratio. If the source is wider or taller, Screenhance fills the opening and crops the overflow rather than stretching the image.

  • Use a source captured in the same orientation as the device opening whenever possible.
  • Keep important navigation and call-to-action elements away from the extreme edges.
  • For a website inside a browser or laptop, capture enough vertical content to avoid magnifying a very shallow crop.
  • If the crop cannot work, change the frame or use the screenshot without a fixed device opening.
03

Protect image quality

Upload the highest-quality source you have and scale down in the composition. Scaling a small screenshot up cannot restore missing detail. If a remote image fails during export, download it locally and upload that file directly so the canvas can render it without cross-origin restrictions.
