What you get on every plan

Screenhance pricing is built around how launches actually work: free to try, a $6 burst for the week you ship, and a monthly Pro for teams that publish visuals every week. Templates and device frames are never paywalled. The thing you pay for is throughput.

Free

Three exports a month with a small Screenhance watermark. Every template, every device frame, every background — all included. The right plan for trying the tool, evaluating fit, or shipping the occasional one-off mockup.

Week Pass — $6

Thirty watermark-free exports over seven days. One-time payment, no subscription, no auto-renewal. Built for Product Hunt launches, App Store updates, and the "I need 12 visuals by Friday" weeks that don't repeat.

Pro — $8/month

Unlimited watermark-free exports, every format (PNG, WebP, JPEG, GIF, WebM), and up to 3× Retina resolution for App Store submission. Yearly billing drops the effective price to $8.25/month and saves 31%.

Who picks which plan

Indie founders before launch. Free plan for the building phase. When the launch date is pencilled in, switch to the Week Pass and burn through gallery images, App Store screenshot sets, OG cards, and Twitter images in one sitting. Most founders never need Pro.

SaaS and B2B marketing teams. Pro on yearly billing. Every changelog post, blog header, feature announcement, and pitch-deck refresh comes out of the same template library, so the visual brand stays consistent without a designer in the loop for every export.

Freelance designers and agencies. Pro monthly. Bill the licence through to clients per project, or share one workspace seat across the team. Animated WebM exports and 3× resolution are the features designers reach for most.

App developers shipping updates. Week Pass for each major release; switch to Pro if you're shipping monthly. The App Store screenshot generator produces every required iOS device size from one design, which is where most of the time savings come from.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I try Screenhance for free?

Yes. The free plan includes 3 exports per month with every template and device frame unlocked. No credit card required to sign up. Exports include a small Screenhance watermark in the corner; the Week Pass and Pro plans remove it.

What's the difference between Pro and Week Pass?

Pro is a monthly or yearly subscription with unlimited watermark-free exports across every format (PNG, WebP, JPEG, GIF, WebM) and up to 3× resolution. The Week Pass is a one-time $6 payment that unlocks 30 watermark-free exports over 7 days — built for launches, store updates, and one-off projects where a recurring subscription doesn't make sense.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Pro subscriptions can be cancelled from your account settings at any time. You keep access for the rest of your billing period and Screenhance won't charge you again. Refunds are issued for billing errors within 30 days of charge — contact hello@screenhance.com.

What export formats are available?

Free users export PNG at 1× resolution with a watermark. Pro and Week Pass users export all formats (PNG, WebP, JPEG, GIF, WebM) at up to 3× resolution and no watermark. Animated exports (GIF, WebM) are Pro-only — they're a heavier render and only meaningful when you've designed motion into the template.

Do you offer yearly billing?

Yes. Yearly Pro is $99/year — the equivalent of $8.25/month, a 31% discount versus monthly billing at $144/year. Yearly billing is non-refundable after 30 days and unlocks the same features as monthly Pro.

Are App Store screenshot exports included?

Yes, on every paid plan. The App Store screenshot generator outputs all iOS and Google Play screenshot dimensions from a single design — iPhone 6.9-inch, 6.7-inch, 6.5-inch, iPad 13-inch and 12.9-inch for iOS, plus Android phone and tablet sizes for Play Store. Free users can preview and design but exports are limited to 3 per month.

Is there a team or agency plan?

Multi-seat workspaces are on the roadmap for 2026. For now, agencies generally bill a Pro seat per project or share a single seat across designers. If you need an invoice for procurement or want to discuss bulk seat pricing, email hello@screenhance.com.

Do you offer student or startup discounts?

Yes — students with a .edu email get 50% off Pro for the first year, and seed-stage startups (under $1M raised) can request a 3-month Pro credit. Both are reviewed manually. Send a request from your work email to hello@screenhance.com with a one-line context.

What's included on every plan

Templates, device frames, and core editing are unlocked on every plan including free. The only things that change between tiers are export volume, watermark removal, and a few advanced features.

Templates and device frames

Every plan includes the full template library (100+ designs across Product Hunt, App Store, OG cards, website heroes, and device mockups) and every device frame (40+, including the latest iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone Air, MacBook M4, Pixel 10, Samsung Galaxy S25, iPad Pro M4, and Apple Watch Ultra). New frames and templates roll out to every tier simultaneously — there's no "Pro template" tier.

Backgrounds and effects

Every plan unlocks gradients, mesh backgrounds, glass effects, aurora patterns, and solid colours. Upload your own background images. Use the in-editor colour picker, gradient builder, and pattern library. No background type is paywalled.

Editor features

Drag-drop screenshot import, headline and caption editing, text overlays, illustration and emoji libraries, multi-screen compositions, alignment guides, padding controls, frame colour swapping, and shadow presets. All available on every plan.

Export formats

Free users export PNG at 1×. Paid plans (Week Pass and Pro) unlock PNG, WebP, JPEG at up to 3× resolution plus animated GIF and WebM exports for templates with motion. App Store and Google Play screenshot sets are available on every plan; export volume is what differs.

Watermark

Free plan exports include a small "Made with Screenhance" mark in the bottom corner. Week Pass and Pro remove it entirely. The watermark is deliberately small and unobtrusive — fine for evaluation, less fine for customer-facing assets.

How Screenhance pricing compares to alternatives

Rough monthly cost for an equivalent paid tier across the most-compared alternatives:

Screenhance Pro — $8/month ($99/year, saves 31%). Unlimited watermark-free exports across PNG, WebP, JPEG, GIF, WebM at up to 3×. Every template and device frame. App Store and Play Store screenshot sets included.

Smartmockups — $19/month standalone (or bundled with Canva Pro at $13/month). Strong lifestyle and apparel library; weaker on software-first features like App Store sets and animated mockups. Better if you're already in the Canva ecosystem.

Previewed — $12-15/month. Popular with iOS developers for clean device mockups. Limited App Store screenshot set tooling and no animated export. Reasonable choice for one-product iOS shops.

Shots.so — $99/year unlimited. Same yearly price as Screenhance. Brilliant for single-screenshot polish; narrower template library and no App Store screenshot set generation.

Placeit — varies widely. Subscription is $14.95/month standalone or included in Envato Elements at $16.50/month. Per-download licensing on some assets. Best for ecommerce and apparel; mismatch for SaaS launches.

Figma + plugins — $12-15/month per seat plus design hours. Maximum flexibility, 10-30× slower per mockup than a dedicated generator. Worth keeping for custom design work; wrong tool for launch volume.

The math that usually decides: if you ship more than 4-5 visuals a month, a $8/month dedicated generator pays for itself in time saved by week two. If you ship occasionally, the free tier plus an occasional Week Pass costs less than a subscription.
