Turn a raw take into a focused product story without rebuilding it in a desktop video editor.

01

The Studio workspace

Studio combines a stage, left-side editing rail, top-level canvas controls and a timeline. Record mode exposes recording, templates, style, additions and layers; the timeline controls playback, trim, splits, zooms, captions and moment-based annotations.

02

Make the rough cut first

  1. 1Play the entire take once and note where the real story begins and ends.
  2. 2Drag the trim handles to remove setup, silence and the stop action.
  3. 3Split around mistakes or waiting time, then remove the unwanted segment.
  4. 4Preview across every cut to make sure the product state does not jump confusingly.
  5. 5Only after the timing works, add zooms, captions, annotations, frame and background styling.
03

Polish the presentation

  • Choose an output aspect ratio or Auto size based on the destination.
  • Crop the recorded source deliberately; do not hide important navigation to fill a fashionable ratio.
  • Add a browser or device frame when it clarifies context, not simply because one is available.
  • Use a quiet background and consistent padding so the recording remains the focus.
  • Keep a camera bubble away from product controls and captions; it remains independently editable when recorded through the extension.
